Download NowThe Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is set to declare the TN Class 12 (HSC) results today, May 8 at 9:30 am. Students who appeared for the higher secondary examinations held between March 2 and March 26, 2026, will be able to access their TN HSC Plus 2 results 2026 online through the official websites, tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. TN 12th Result 2026 LIVE.
To check the TN 12th results, candidates will need to enter their hall ticket number along with their date of birth. Apart from the official websites, students will also be able to check their results via DigiLocker or sms.
As per the various media reports this year, more than 8 lakh students have taken Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exams.
The online marksheet will carry key details such as the student’s name, registration number, parents’ names, photograph, school details, subject-wise scores, total marks obtained, and pass status. Students are advised to carefully verify all information on the scorecard.
TN 12th Result: How to check
Candidates can follow the below steps to check their TN 12th results 2026 online;
- Open any official result website such as tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in; you can also use backup links like dge1.tn.nic.in or dge2.tn.nic.in if needed.
- On the homepage, locate and select the link for “HSE (+2) Result 2026.”
- Enter your login details, including your registration number and date of birth in the required format.
- Submit the information by clicking on the result or submit button to access your marks.
- Once the scorecard appears, download and save the provisional marksheet, as heavy traffic may slow the site later.
In case of any discrepancies in marksheet, candidates should promptly inform their respective schools for correction
