TISSNET 2019 application begins on Oct 30; Exam on Jan 13

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 27 : Tata Institute of Social Sciences, the conducting body of TISSNET 2019 has announced the examination dates. As per the official notification, the online application process for TISSNET 2019 will start on October 30, 2018 and end on December 10, 2018. Further, the offline application process will also begin on October 30, 2018 but will end on December 12, 2018. TISSNET 2019, the computer-based test, will be conducted on January 13, 2019 from 2:00 pm  to 3:40 pm.

TISSNET 2019 hall ticket will be available in online mode from December 26 to December 27, 2018. The pre-orientation programme will be held for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Minority candidates on December 23, 2018 at Mumbai/Hyderabad/Tuljapur/Guwahati campuses.

The results of TISSNET 2019 will be announced on February 4, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. For the programmes offered at Mumbai and BALM, Chennai campuses, the pre-interview test and personal interview will be conducted at TISS Mumbai on the following dates - March 5 to March 15, 2019 (except Sunday), March 16 to March 19, 2019, March 25 to March 28, 2019, and April 1 to April 4, 2019.

The list of selected candidates will be announced on the official website on April 22, 2019. The document verification and fee payment process will be conducted from April 24 to May 8, 2019.

The first waiting list will be announced by the institute on May 14, 2019. For the first waiting list candidates, the document verification and fee payment process will be conducted from May 16 to May 24, 2019.

TISSNET 2019 admissions will close on June 8, 2019 and the academic session will commence from June 10, 2019.

Candidates may note that the examination and admissions dates for MA Education (Elementary) programmes are yet to be announced.

Candidates should not that these dates are applicable for postgraduate programmes offered by TISS including MBA.

TISSNET 2019 will be conducted on January 13 for admissions into postgraduate programmes including MA in Development Studies, Women’s Studies, Applied Psychology, Education and MBA. These programmes are offered by TISS across campuses located in the following cities - Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, and Guwahati.
