NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) Tamil Nadu has announced the round 1 seat allotment result for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024 counselling today, August 1. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can download the TNEA 2024 round 1 seat allotment result through the official website, tneaonline.org.
As per the schedule, candidates who have been allotted seats must confirm the same by August 2, 2024 ( up to 5 pm). In case of failure to accept the allotment, the seat will be cancelled. Candidates can report to their colleges from August 3 to 7, 2024 to confirm their admissions.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the TNEA round 1 seat allotment result 2024.
TNEA counselling 2024 seat confirmation
Candidates allocated seats in the TNEA counselling 2024 process have three options: accept and choose upward movement, decline and choose upward movement, or withdraw from the counselling session. It is crucial for candidates to confirm their decision to prevent seat cancellation.
Those who accept their seat must download the allotment letter, report to their assigned institutes, complete the admission process, and pay the necessary fees. Students who have chosen upward mobility in their choices, aiming for a seat in a higher-ranked college, should wait for the next round. The provisional allotment for these candidates will be available on August 10.
TNEA supplementary counselling 2024
TNEA 2024 supplementary counselling will commence from September 6 to 8 followed by the SCA to SC counselling on September 10 and 11, 2024.
TNEA 2024 counselling is held for admissions to government and government-aided engineering colleges, as well as university departments and constituent colleges of Anna University and Annamalai University.
