TNEA Engineering 2024: Candidates have been instructed to download the round 2 seat allotment order from tneaonline.org and report to allotted college by August 20.
NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu has published the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA 2024) provisional seat allotment 2024 for second round candidates. Candidates who confirmed the tentative seat allotment have been instructed to login and download the provisional allotment order from the official website, tneaonline.org, and report to the respective college on or before August 20.

The TNEA engineering tentative allotment 2024 was announced for round 2 candidates on August 13. They were given a day's time to confirm the upgraded allocation.
The officials will hold multiple rounds of TNEA BTech counselling and all rounds will include choice filling, publication of tentative allotment, confirmation of tentative allotment, reporting to college, and payment of fees. Those who are selected for BTech admission will have an option to accept the seat allotment, float, freeze, or exit from the counselling process.
“Those who had opted "I accept the current allotment and opt for the upward movement. If allotted in upward movement, I confirm." , we request you to login and download the tentative allotment order and visit the TFC that you had selected during tentative confirmation with all the required certificates on or before 20-08-2024, all other students who confirmed the tentative allotment request you to wait until 23-08-2024,” the officials said.
The directorate cautioned the students against fraudulent calls asking them for usernames and passwords or suggest college names to fill out choices. “If you need assistance with any counseling procedure, please visit any nearby TFC centre or contact us via email or telephone,” it said.
How to download TNEA provisional allotment 2024
Candidates will be able to download the Tamil Nadu Engineering admission round 2 provisional seat allotment order by following the steps given below.
- Visit the TNEA official website, tneaonline.org.
- Click on the candidate login link on the top right corner on the homepage.
- Key in your registered email address and password and ‘Submit’.
- The TNEA engineering round 2 provisional seat allotment result will be displayed.
- Check all the details given on the allotment order.
- Download and take a printout for future reference.
