TNEA 2026 round 3 seat allotment result out for upward-opted candidates; 55,365 seats allotted

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has published the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 round 3 provisional seat allotment result for upward-opted candidates. The provisional allotment has been published for candidates under both the general academic category and the government school studied (7.5%) quota. A total of 55,365 seats have been allotted in round 3.

As per the provisional allotment data, 52,915 seats have been allotted under the Round 3 General Academic category. A further 2,450 seats have been allotted under the Government School Studied (7.5%) academic quota.

Candidates who participated in round 3 of TNEA counselling 2026 can log in to the official portal to check their allotment status and download the provisional allotment order. Those allotted seats must report to the respective colleges and complete the admission process within the prescribed schedule mentioned in the TNEA seat allotment letter .

Steps to download TNEA 2026 round 3 allotment order

The steps mentioned below will help candidates to download their TNEA seat allotment result.

• Visit the official TNEA 2026 website.
• Click on the candidate login link.
• Enter your registered email ID/user ID and password.
• Log in to your candidate account.
• Go to the Round 3 provisional allotment section.
• Check the seat allotted under the General Academic or Government School Studied (7.5%) quota.
• Click on the download allotment order option.
• Download and save the allotment order for future reference.

Candidates are advised to follow the instructions mentioned in the provisional allotment order and carry the required documents while reporting to the allotted institution.
