TNPSC Group 2 hall ticket released; Know steps to download

Subscribe NowNEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 1: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the hall ticket of TNPSC Group 2 for preliminary exam on November 1, 2018. Candidates have to download the admit card online by logging in with application or login ID and date of birth. No hard copy of the TNPSC Group 2 hall ticket is sent to candidates by post. The hall ticket carries information related to registration number, candidate’s name, centre name and address, and schedule of examination. Besides these details, the admit card also carries the photograph and the signature of the candidates. The preliminary examination of TNPSC Group 2 is scheduled to be conducted on November 11, 2018 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Candidates are advised to check the details printed on TNPSC Group 2 admit card carefully and for any discrepancies in details should inform the examination authority for correction. On the day of exam, candidates should bring the printed copy of admit card along with photo-identity proof to the examination centre. Candidates are not allowed to bring mobile phones, calculators, watches and other electronic devices to the examination centre.
According to the exam pattern, the preliminary exam will carry objective type questions from General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test and General Tamil / General English. The test will be held for three hours. Maximum marks allotted to the preliminary exam are 300. To qualify the exam, candidates need to secure 90 marks. The minimum qualifying marks are common across all categories. The language of the question paper will be in Tamil and English.
TNPSC Group 2 recruitment is conducted to fill up 1199 vacancies in various government departments of the state. The selection process of TNPSC Group 2 comprises – Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Oral Test. Candidates qualifying the preliminary exam will be called for the mains exam. The result of preliminary exam will be declared in February 2019.
