Try NowNEW DELHI: Medical aspirants seeking admission to private medical colleges in India will have to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG). The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG 2025 exam on May 4 from 2 pm to 5 pm in pen-paper mode.
The NEET UG 2025 registration link is available on the official website at neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG scores are used by a number of private medical colleges to offer admission to medical students. These colleges offer admission to various medical courses such as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programs.
Private Medical Colleges: Courses offered
Apart from MBBS and BDS, NEET UG qualifiers can also get admission to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), and Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) course offered by many private medical colleges.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and government medical colleges are two of the most popular choices for MBBS admissions , in addition to private medical colleges. AIIMS, which offers medical courses in New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Bhopal, Raipur, and other locations, admits students through NEET UG .
