Download NowNEW DELHI: Tripura Board of Secondary Education has decided to postpone TBSE Class 10 and 12 exams until further notice due to COVID-19 pandemic. The Tripura board Class 10 and 12 exams will be conducted when the situation normalizes.

Ratan Lal Nath, minister of higher education tweeted, “As per the decision of TBSE, the board examinations of Class 10 and 12 has been postponed for the time being until further notice. My message to all the students to be prepared for the examination as when the situation will be fruitful the examination will be conducted.”
The decision was taken in a meeting of the TBSE examination committee, which was held today at 12 noon.

According to the official announcement, “Looking at the uprising situation of COVID-19 pandemic all over the country as well as in our state and also taking into account the safety and health of the students, it will not be judicious to hold ensuing HS (+2 Stage) and Madhyamik Examinations wef May 18 and May 19 respectively. The examination committee recommends to postpone these examinations for the time being and propose to hold the examinations when the situation will be conducive with two weeks' notice.”
Students are advised to keep up their preparation and utilize the time. The new exam schedule will be released at least 15 days prior to the TBSE Board exams. Earlier, TBSE Madhyamik exams 2021 were scheduled to be conducted from May 19, 2021. Whereas, the TBSE 12th exams 2021 were scheduled to be held from May 18, 2021.
