TS EdCET 2025 Results: Tie-breaking rule
In TS EdCET 2025, if two or more candidates secure the same total marks, the tie is resolved by applying the following criteria in a specific order.
- If there is a tie in total marks, subject or content marks are considered to decide the relative rank.
- If the tie still persists, marks in teaching aptitude are taken into account.
- If the tie remains, general English marks are considered next.
- If the tie continues, general knowledge and educational issues marks are evaluated.
- If the tie is still not resolved, computer awareness marks are considered.
- If candidates score the same marks in all parts of the test, they are bracketed together for ranking.
- During admission, if candidates are bracketed, age is used to decide the rank, with preference given to the older candidate.
