Telangana Board to award full marks for pie chart question of IPE English 2nd year paper

The TSBIE decided to award marks after Class 12 students reported “inaccuracies” in question number 7 of the TS 2nd year English question paper, specifically related to the pie chart.
NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has decided to award full marks to all students who have attempted question number 7 in TS Intermediate 2nd year English public exam held today.
This year, 9,96,971 (9.96 lakh) students are appearing for the TSBIE Telangana Inter public exam . The board exams began on March 6. On the second day, the state board conducted English II for TS 2nd year students across 1,532 centres from 9 am to 12 noon.
The board received representations from some students regarding the “inaccuracies” in question number 7 of the TS 2nd year English question paper 2025, specifically related to the pie chart.
“Following this, a thorough discussion was held with subject experts to assess the issue. In the interest of fairness and ensuring that students are not at a disadvantage due to printing inconsistencies, the Board has decided to award full marks for the respective question to all students who attempted to answer it in the answer sheet,” the TGBIE said in an official statement.
“TGBIE remains committed to conducting examinations transparently and ensuring that no student is disadvantaged due to unforeseen errors,” secretary of the Telangana Board said. The TS 2nd year English II question paper carries 100 marks.
The board will conduct the TS IPE Class 12 board exam 2025 till March 25.
