UCEED 2018 Round 1 Seat allotment announced

NEW DELHI, JULY 4: IIT Bombay has announced the first round seat allotment of UCEED 2018. All of the candidates who registered for the counselling process will now be able to check their allotment status. The seat allotment has been released in PDF format. Selected candidates will be required to pay the seat acceptance fee within the given time frame. Along with the payment, the candidates will also have to select their option among freezing and floating till July 8.

Steps to check UCEED 2018 Seat Allotment

The candidates can check their allotment status by following the given steps:

• The PDF link to access the seat allotment is available on the official website of UCEED

• The seat allotment list will be displayed on the screen

• Institute wise allotted candidates are listed in the PDF

Details available in the seat allotment status

The following details will be available in the seat allotment list of UCEED:

• Summary of the allotment

• Opening and closing ranks institute-wise

• UCEED roll number of the candidates

• Seat category of the candidates

What after seat allotment?

After the seat allotment status is checked, the selected candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 60,000 (Rs. 15,000 for SC/ST/PwD category) before the determined final date. After payment of the required fee and freezing of allotted seat, the candidates will be provided with the final allotment letter. The option of freeze or float will be available to the candidates till July 8. Those candidates who select float option will be provided the final allotment letter after they confirm a seat. Finally, as per the schedule given in the allotment letter, the candidates will have to report at their respective institutes for verification of documents and payment of balance fee.
