UGC NET 2021 result for December 2020, June 2021 session is expected to be out at ugcnet.nta.nic.in on February 17 or February 18.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the UGC NET result 2021 for the December 2020 and June 2021 sessions in a day or two on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. As per the latest notice released by the UGC, “the processing of UGC NET 2021 is underway.”

The UGC Chairman, M Jagdesh Kumar, said that the UGC is working closely with NTA and all efforts are being made to declare the UGC NET results in a day or two (February 17 or 18). He also wished the candidates.

The NTA will declare the results for more than 12 lakh candidates who have registered for the exam. Once the UGC NET 2021 result is declared, candidates can check the result by entering the application number and password or date of birth.
UGC NET December 2020 exam was not conducted due to Covid-19 pandemic. Subsequently, the NTA held the December and June 2021 session together. UGC NET 2021 was conducted in 81 subjects in 837 exam centres spread across 239 cities.
After being postponed several times, the UGC NET exam 2021 was held between November 20 to January 5, 2022. Some of the exam papers were again postponed in the middle of the exam due to a clash with other major examinations, cyclone Jawad, paper leak reports etc.

The NTA released the UGC NET answer key 2021 on the official website on January 21 and candidates were given a chance to raise objections against the provincial answer key till January 24.
Steps to check UGC NET 2021 result
Candidates can check the UGC NET 2021 result for December 2020 and June 2021 exams by following the steps given below.
- Visit the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on “UGC NET Results 2021.
- A new window will appear on the screen.
- Enter the credentials like registration number, password to log in.
- Click on the submit button.
- UGC NET 2021 result will appear on the screen.
- Download the result and take the printout for future reference.
