The National Testing Agency, NTA will publish the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, UGC NET 2026 answer key soon. Following the usual pattern, agency will publish the provisional answer key and will invite objections against the same. The final answer key and result will be prepared only after considering objections raised against provisional key.

Along with answer key, NTA will issue candidates' response sheets so that they can check the answers that they marked in the computer-based test conducted between June 22 and June 30. Due to technical glitches at a centre , NTA conducted re-exam on July 5 . The exam was conducted across multiple examination centres in India in two shifts each day for different subjects. The marks obtained by candidates depends on their aggregate performance in paper I and paper II of UGC-NET.

- On the homepage, click on public notices section
- Click on the link that reads, 'Public Notice regarding the release of provisional answer key for UGC-NET June 2026 examination'
- Answer key PDF will open up on screen
- Go through the same and download it
- Take its printout for future references
