UGC NET December 2022: NTA reschedules exam for candidates affected by technical issues in 1 Delhi centre

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for the 77 candidates affected by technical issues on March 11. The new revised date will be announced soon for the 77 candidates of computer science and application. In one UGC NET December 2022 exam centre - Brilliance Advance Studies Delhi, the test was disrupted in the middle of the exam on the second shift and it took about one hour and 10 minutes to resolve the issue. However, NTA in a statement issued on March 11 said, the looping problem was diagnosed and rectified and the test was restarted.

“Some candidates became ruthless and violent and switched off the MCB this delaying the process of troubleshooting the network issue. A total of 77 candidates left the centre without completing the test, while 156 completed the test after it had resumed,” NTA statement added. As many as 233 candidates were present out of the 363 allotted candidates in the Brilliance Advance Studies Delhi centre.

Further saying that these candidates are being contacted individually, NTA has also provided helpdesk number and email id to resolve queries and make clarifications. These are 011-40759000 and ugcnet@nta.ac.in.
