NTA is set to commence the UGC NET 2024 exam today, June 18, 2024. Here are some NTA UGC NET exam paper tips and guidelines that candidates should keep in mind before going to the exam centre.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2024) for the June session today, June 18. This UGC NET exam 2024 will be held for 83 subjects across 541 exam centres. Unlike last session, candidates will be appearing in an OMR-based test in offline mode. UGC NET 2024 LIVE
As per the exam timings, the NTA UGC NET exam will be conducted in two shifts - shift 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 pm and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates are allowed to carry a transparent water bottle, UGC NET admit card 2024, two passport size photographs to affix in attendance sheet, and a valid photo identity card.

Don't forget your hall ticket: Print a hard copy of your UGC NET 2024 admit card and double check it for discrepancies. Carry two-passport size photographs along with the admit card.

Arrive early: Aim to reach the UGC NET 2024 exam centre at least an hour before your scheduled reporting time to avoid any last-minute stress.

Valid ID proof: Bring a government-issued ID that matches the one mentioned on your UGN NET 2024 admit card. This could be an original Aadhaar card, driving licence, voter identity card, PAN card, passport or any other photo ID proof.

Read NTA UGC NET 2024 exam instructions carefully. If you receive an incorrect question paper, inform the exam centre authorities immediately.
UGC NET 2024: Unfair means
The NTA has issued exam day guidelines to be followed by candidates. It also defined use of unfair means, dress code, and dos and don’ts.

To ensure a fair testing environment for the NTA UGC NET 2024 exam, no personal items that could be used for cheating are allowed. This includes stationery (except permitted pens), electronic devices, accessories, food items etc

During exam hours, complete silence and focus are expected. Any communication with other candidates is strictly prohibited.

Misbehaviour towards NTA staff or fellow test-takers at the exam centre is also considered as malpractice.

Candidates should double check these key components such as personal details, date of birth, exam date and time, UGC NET application number, candidate's photograph and signature and exam day guidelines.
