UGC NET Result 2024 LIVE: NTA NET December final answer key for 85 subjects soon; subject-wise cut-offs

The UGC NET result date for exams conducted in January 2025 has not been announced by NTA. As per past trends, UGC NET result 2024 is expected to be declared in this week at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

According to the NTA's weeding out rules, the records of the UGC NET result 2024 for December session will be retained for up to 90 days from the date of declaration.

The UGC NET 2024 score calculation formula is given below

100 X Number of candidates appeared in the ‘session’ with raw score equal to or less than the candidate/ Total number of the candidates appeared in the ‘Session’

In UGC NET 2024 previous session, a total of 11,21,225 candidates registered for the exam, out of these 6,84,224 candidates appeared for the test. As per NTA, 4,970 candidates qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in UGC NET 2024 June result.

As per NTA, there is no provision for revaluation of University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 result. The UGC NET 2024 result on the official website will be considered final. 

As per NTA, the PhD admission will be based on the combined merit of UGC NET 2024 result and the marks obtained in the interview or viva voce round. 

The NTA will determine the UGC NET cut-off based on the following factors:

• Total number of candidates
• Difficulty level of UGC NET 2024 question paper.
• UGC NET cut-off past trends

The NTA conducted the UGC NET 2024 December session for 85 subjects. The UGC NET December 2024 exam was held from January 3 to 27.

Following are the steps to download UGC NET 2024 results on the UMANG app:

• Download UMANG app from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store.
• Register yourself.
• Click on ‘UGC NET’.
• Choose NTA UGC NET 2024 December exam.
• Enter required credentials.
• Download your UGC NET 2024 December results.

In UGC NET 2024, 2 marks will be awarded to candidates who have attempted the dropped questions. 

The UGC NET final answer key 2024 will be available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The NTA is yet to publish the UGC NET 2024 final answer key for December session. 

A good score in UGC NET 2024 depends on difficulty level, subject and cut-off trends. However, scoring around 100 can be considered a good score in UGC NET 2024.

Candidates will be required to enter their application number, date of birth and security pin to download the UGC NET result 2024. 

The NTA has already published the UGC NET answer key on January 31. The UGC NET answer key objection window was open till February 3. The NTA is yet to post the UGC NET December 2024 final answer key on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
