NEW DELHI: University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 results for the June session will be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) soon. Candidates will be able to download the UGC NET June 2024 scorecard through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The NTA conducted the UGC NET June 2024 rescheduled examination in computer-based test (CBT) mode for 83 subjects in multiple cities from August 21 to September 5, 2024.

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has decided to admit students to its PhD programmes through the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) result 2024 starting from the 2024-25 academic session. The university will discontinue the entrance test for research.

They complained of delay in PhD admissions due to the delayed UGC NET results 2024.

After NTA issued the UGC NET history answer key along with the answer key for other rescheduled exams held from August 27-30 and September 2-5, candidates demanded to upload the revised answer key as they could not afford to pay for 60 questions.
NTA conducted the UGC NET exams from August 27 to September 5. The exam was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode for 83 subjects.
The UGC NET exam was held on June 18, however, it was canceled due to an alleged paper leak. The education ministry canceled the UGC NET exam for the first time after receiving inputs on “compromise” in the integrity of the exam by the cyber crime branch.
Recently an X user expressed concern over the delay in PhD admissions and said in a post, “Please Release the UGC NET June Re-Exam 2024 results. Many institutions have already closed their PhD admission forms, and more are closing soon. Delay in results is affecting candidates' opportunities.”

The UGC NET certificate for assistant professor and lectureship will be valid for a lifetime. However, the Junior Research Fellowship's UGC NET e-certificate has a validity of 4 years from the issue date.
Candidates will be able to download the UGC NET 2024 results through UGC NET official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The website will host UGC NET score card link which can be accessed using login credentials such as application number.
The dates and time of UGC NET 2024 results are not yet updated by the NTA. The results will be soon out on NTA’s official website.
A total of 11,21,225 candidates registered for the UGC NET June 2024 exam this year including 6,35,587 female students, 4,85,579 male students and 59 third gender candidates, as per an Indian Express report. Around 9,08,580 candidates (81 percent) appeared for the exam, it said.
To pass the UGC NET 2024 exam, candidates from the general (unreserved) and general EWS categories must secure at least 40% in both the papers.

The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2024) June session exam was cancelled due to paper leak allegations and was rescheduled to August. The NTA later conducted the UGC NET re-exam on August 27, 28, 29 and 30 and September 2, 3, 4, and 5. The exam was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode for a total of 83 subjects.
