NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2024) for June session soon on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Along with the UGC NET results 2024, the NTA will also announce the cut-offs for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and assistant professor or lectureship eligibility. To give an idea on UGC NET cut-off trends, Careers360 has compiled the qualifying marks for top subjects of last – years.
Those who are awaiting the UGC NET June results 2024 should note that the number of candidates to be qualified for eligibility for assistant professor will be equal to 6% of the aspirants who appeared for both papers on the basis of their master’s degree or equivalent examination.
It has been 10 days since the NTA closed the UGC NET answer key challenge facility, however, there has been no update on the UGC NET result date yet. Candidates have been expressing their worry about the increased number of wrong answers in the provisional answer key and high-cost non-refundable challenge fee.
As per the qualifying criteria, general category candidates with a score of above 40% marks in both papers taken together and SC, ST, OBC with a score 35% or above will be considered eligible for JRF and assistant professor.
