University of Sheffield to offer 75 UG scholarships for Indian students

NEW DELHI: The University of Sheffield is offering 75 international UG merit scholarships for the academic year 2024. As per University of Sheffield, these 75 scholarships represent competitive awards worth 10,000 pounds (approximately Rs 10,33,000) per year (considering a 60% average is maintained) to help students pay the tuition fees for undergraduate programme commencing in the autumn of 2024.
Important dates to remember:

The application process will begin in the late autumn of 2023.

The deadline for applications is April 22, 2024, at 1 pm.

The name of scholarship beneficiaries will be announced on May 15, 2024.

Successful applicants must confirm their acceptance of the scholarship and accept their offer by a certain deadline specified by the university.

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the University of Sheffield UG scholarships:

Applicants must have received an offer letter to study an UG course at the University of Sheffield.

The applicant's programme should commence in the autumn of 2024 at the University of Sheffield.

All undergraduate degree programmes are eligible except for Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200).

Applicants must be self-funded and liable for international tuition expenses.

Applicants are not permitted to be sponsored by a third party.

Applicants must be in their first or second year of a degree study at the University of Sheffield.

According to Sheffield University, March programmes are considered postgraduate programmes and are not considered for undergraduate scholarships.
