University of Hyderabad begins PG admission process for 2026-27 session through CUET PG scores; fees, counselling dates, seat intake and eligibility
UoH PG Admissions 2026: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has opened an online application for the postgraduate programs for the 2026-27 academic year. Aspirants can apply through the academic portal at acad.uohyd.ac.in. The application process will close on June 8, 2026. Most programmes will offer admission on the basis of candidates’ CUET (PG) 2026 performance.
The list of shortlisted candidates for interviews will be announced on June 19, 2026. The interviews are scheduled to be conducted on June 29, June 30, and July 1, 2026, with the mode of interview to be communicated separately by the respective academic units.
The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 300, while applicants belonging to the EWS and OBC-NCL categories are required to pay Rs 200. Candidates from the SC, ST, and PwD categories need to submit an application fee of Rs 125. The authorities have clarified that the fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.

UoH PG Admissions 2026: Seats intake
The university has offered a total of 1,295 seats across its flagship postgraduate programmes, including MA, MSc, MPA, MVA, MBA in Business Analytics and Healthcare & Hospital Management, along with other master’s courses. Apart from this, 36 seats have been allocated for M.Tech in Microelectronics and VLSI Design, 40 seats for the MCA programme, and 29 seats for MSc Biotechnology.
In addition, the UoH has made available 100 seats in specialised M.Tech programmes such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Bioinformatics. Admissions to these technical courses will be carried out through GATE scores under the CCMT counselling process.
