NEW DELHI: Deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Sharma has announced that the UP board exam 2021 Class 12 will be held in the second week of July 2021. The UP board exam 2021 for Class 12 will be held only after the situation normalizes. The exam duration has been reduced to one and a half hours from the earlier 3 hours.

Keeping in view the importance of class 12 examination and the role of intermediate examination marks in the future of the students, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will conduct UP board 12th exam 2021 in the second week of July. These exams will be held in favourable conditions with all precautions and by following all the guidelines of prevention of COVID-19, the minister informed.

The detailed UP board exam date 2021 class 12 will be released by the UPMSP on the official website, upmsp.edu.in.

As per previous trends, this year too, exams will be held in 15 working days. In the interest of students, the government has decided that the duration of the question paper will be one and a half hours instead of three hours.

Students will have an option to answer three questions out of given 10 questions. A total of 26,10,316 students have registered for the UP board intermediate examinations.

Along with the Class 12 exam date announcement, the minister has said that the UP board 10th exam 2021 has been cancelled and students will be promoted to Class 11.

Earlier, the minister has announced that all the preparations regarding the conduction of up board 12th exam 2021 are in place. The question papers have been printed, sets of decoded copies are ready. Also, the board has already allotted 8,513 examination centers to follow proper social distancing during the exam.
