In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and on the basis of feedback obtained from various stakeholders, the government has decided that the Class 10 and 12 exams stand cancelled for 2021. So, this year, there will no CBSE exams. Students will get marks based on fair objective criteria for evaluation.

In today's meeting, Narendra Modi will be explained on all the possible options for Class 12th board exam 2021. In the last meeting with the defence minister and group of minister, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) proposed two options for conduct the CBSE board exam 2021.
The first option is to conduct exams for major subjects only and the second is to conduct exams with changes in the exam pattern.

Madhya Pradesh government has cancelled the Class 10 board examinations along with the postponement of Class 12 exams, in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases. The result of MP board 10th class will be prepared as per internal assessment.

Previous year CBSE declared the result on the basis of the number of papers attempted. Students who attempted all papers were given marks on the basis of their performance. Students who attempted more than three subjects were given marks by taking the average of the best three subjects for their pending subjects. Similarly, For students who attempted 3 subjects only, the marks for pending subjects were given on the basis of average of the best two attempted subjects.

Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has declared the Class 9 and 11 examination result on Sunday. Students can check the result on the official website: vimarsh.mp.gov.in. MP Board has released the Class 9 and 11 result based on the examination held in November and half-yearly test.
As reported by Times of India, The Board is willing to schedule MP Board class 12th exams 2021. It is expected that the MPBSE 12th board exam will be conducted in July, as the department has made it clear that they can wait till July, but giving general promotion is not viable.

In 2020, the CBSE evaluated the marks of students based on the number of papers they had attempted. Students who attempted all papers were given marks based on their performance. Students who appeared in more than 3 subjects, the marks for the pending subject were given by taking the average of the best three subjects. For students who appeared only for 3 subjects, the marks for pending subjects were given on the basis of average of the best two attempted subjects.

On May 23, in a high level meeting CBSE suggested two options to conduct the exams. The second option is the ‘truncated version,’ of the exams. It means the exam pattern will be changed in terms of duration of the exam, number or type of questions asked in the exam, etc.
The CBSE board has proposed two options for conducting the Class 12th board exams 2021. The first option is to conduct Class 12 board exams for major subjects. Central Board of Secondary Education has reduced the CBSE 12th Class syllabus to recover the study loss caused by COVID. The CBSE class 12 board exams syllabus was rationalised by keeping the core concepts intact.

The Ministry of Education has released a notification on the postponed CBSE 12th board exam exams. The decision to postpone exams was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by the Prime Minister.
Earlier, the CBSE board has released the Class 12 exam dates on February 2, 2021. The Class 12 board exams were scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 14, 2021. On April 14, the board decided to postpone the CBSE board exam 2021 due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.
Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' was admitted due to post-COVID complications. He had contracted the coronavirus in April. He was also expected to take final decision on CBSE Class 12 2021 exams by Thursday.
