UP NEET UG Counselling 2025: Stray vacancy round registration begins today; guidelines for aspirants

Try NowThe Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME), Uttar Pradesh will commence the registration for the stray vacancy round of UP NEET UG counselling 2025 today for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes in medical and dental colleges. Aspirants who qualified the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 will be able to apply for the last round through the official website, upneet.gov.in.

As per the UP NEET UG 2025 counselling schedule, the last date to register and make fee payment for the stray vacancy round is November 14. The merit list will be issued on November 14.
Applicants will be required to pay Rs 2,000 as the application fee. Along with the registration fee, students will also have to deposit security money which is Rs 30,000 for government college seats, Rs 2 lakh for private medical college seats, and Rs 1 lakh for private dental college seats.
UP NEET Counselling 2025: Guidelines for stray vacancy round
DGME issued the following instructions for candidates:
- Only those candidates will be eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round who have not been allotted any seat in any round of UP NEET UG 2025 counselling.
- Candidates who have been admitted through any round of All India Counselling or any other State Counselling under NEET UG 2025 will not be eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Candidates who were Admitted / Not Reported after allotment / Resigned in the first, second, or third round of UP NEET UG 2025 counselling are not eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round.
- All eligible candidates who wish to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round must register afresh by paying a registration fee of ₹2,000, which will be non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Candidates who were registered but not allotted a seat in the first, second, or third round, and have already deposited the security money earlier, do not need to deposit the security amount again to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Candidates who did not participate in the earlier rounds of counselling and are participating for the first time in the Stray Vacancy Round must deposit the prescribed security amount as per the rules.
- Candidates who were admitted to the BDS course in the first, second, or third round of UP NEET UG 2025 counselling will be eligible to fill choices for the MBBS course in the Stray Vacancy Round. Such candidates must ensure payment of the required security amount online as applicable for government/private MBBS courses as per the rules.
UP NEET UG Counselling 2025: Documents required
Candidates will be required to upload the following documents at the time of registration:
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- Domicile certificate, if applicable
