UP teacher pushes students to hit a child from another faith; UP police, NCPCR to take action

Uttar Pradesh police and education department have also started a probe, said action will be taken against the teacher and school management.
NEW DELHI: National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has taken suo moto cognisance of a video that has gone viral online in which a teacher of a private school in Uttar Pradesh can be seen pushing students to beat another child inside the classroom. She can be heard saying that she routinely encourages children to beat "Mohammedan" – Muslim – students in her class.
The video has gone viral on social media and the NCPCR has appealed to users not to share it as the minors identity is being revealed.
NCPCR member Priyank Kanooggo said, “I Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar, the incident of a teacher getting a child beaten up by other children in the class has been reported. Taking cognisance, instructions are being issued fir action, everyone is requested not to share the video of the child. Give information by email. Don’t become a part of crime by revealing the identity of children.”

Uttar Pradesh: Muzaffarnagar school
The teacher who, as per local reports, works at Neha Public School in Mansurpur, Muzaffarnagar, UP, can be heard using abusive language against Muslims and provoking children to hit a student.
The Muzaffarnagar police have verified the video and said that it is from a school in Khubapur in Mansurpur of Muzaffarnagar district, UP. They have initiated an investigation in the matter, the police added.
The UP education department has also come into action. The Basic Shiksha Adhikar Shubham Shukla said action will be taken against the teacher and school management for the incident.

Another video has also surfaced where the father of the victim can be seen talking about reaching a compromise with the school management. The victim’s father told a local reporter that he has reached a compromise with the teacher and the school after the admission fee of his child was returned. He has also withdrawn the complaint.
