UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2026: B.El.Ed, RCI-approved diploma holders eligible; apply by November 4

The Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC) has extended the application deadline for the Assistant Teacher recruitment 2026 to November 4, 2026, for primary school teachers. Eligible candidates can now submit their UPESSC Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2026 application forms until the revised deadline, after changes to the eligibility criteria were announced by the UPESSC.

According to the commission’s notification dated October 28, two additional qualifications have also been included in the list of eligible qualifications under the orders issued by the Allahabad High Court and directions from the Uttar Pradesh government.

Candidates who have a two-year Diploma in Special Education approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and those who have completed a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree have been included in the eligibility criteria.

The written examination schedule remains unchanged. The UPESSC Assistant Teacher recruitment examination will be held on December 3 and 4, 2026. The commission has also revised the schedule for submitting applications and making corrections to application forms. Check the important dates below.
