UPSC NDA, NA results 2025 out on upsc.gov.in; 8,516 qualify CDS-1 exam

Candidates, who appeared for the competitive exams, can check their results from the official website at upsc.gov.in. Qualified candidates have to attend the interview process, which will be taken by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy Examination (NAE), and Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination 2025 today, on its official website at upsc.gov.in.

A total of 8,516 candidates have cleared the Combined Defense Services Examination, 2025 which were conducted by the UPSC on April 13. The qualified candidates will now have to attend the interview for admission to the Indian Military Academcy, Dehrudun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala; Air Force Academy, Hyderabad; Officers Training Academy, Chennai and Officers Training Academy, Women, Chennai.
The commission also conducted the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination 2025 on April 13. The qualified candidates will have to be present for the interview, which will be taken by the Service Selection Board (SSB) for admission to army, navy and air force wings of the National Defence Academy.
The commission has also notified that the candidates, whose roll number are given in the result list is provisional. For admission, candidates have to submit their original certificates in support of age (date of birth), educational qualifications, NCC (Army Wind, Senior Division Air Wind, Naval Wing) and others.

Marks-sheet within 15 days
Candidates have to submit the required documents for verification for admission to IMA and INA before January 1, 2026, whereas for admission to AFA, documents should be submitted by November 13, 2025. Notably, in case of SSC course only, candidates have to submit documents by April 1, 2026. "The candidates must not send the original Certificates to the Union Public Service Commission," as per the official notice.
Furthermore, candidates, who have qualified the written exam and given their first choice as Army (IMA or OTA) have to register themselves on the recruiting directorate website at joinindianarmy.nic.in.
The commission will publish the marks-sheet of the candidates, who have not qualified within 15 days from today and will remain available on the website for a period of 30 days.
