UPTAC 2024 round 2 seat allotment result today; pay acceptance fee till August 19

NEW DELHI: APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will announce the round 2 seat allotment result for Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) BTech 2024 counselling today, August 16. Candidates who registered for the counselling process will be able to download the UPTAC 2024 seat allotment result for round 2 through the official website, uptac.admissions.nic.in.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as their application number and date of birth to access the UPTAC 2024 round 2 seat allotment result.

As per the schedule, shortlisted candidates will have to submit their willingness and pay the acceptance fee by August 19 to confirm their admission. Candidates have the option to withdraw their seats by August 19.

After the UPTAC round 2 seat allotment result, here are the steps you should follow:

1. Decision on Allotment:

   • Freeze: If you are satisfied with the allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds, choose the "Freeze" option. This will lock your seat and end your participation in subsequent rounds.
   • Float: If you are satisfied with the current allotment but still want to try for a better option in the next rounds, select the "Float" option. This keeps your current seat while allowing you to be considered for higher preference options in the upcoming rounds.
   • Slide: If you are happy with the institution but prefer a different course within the same institution, choose the "Slide" option. This keeps your seat but allows you to move to a preferred course within the same college if it becomes available.

2. Document Upload and Verification: If you haven't already, upload the required documents for verification. Make sure that all documents are accurate and complete to avoid any issues during the admission process.

3. Fee Payment: If you decide to "Freeze" your seat, you'll need to pay the required seat acceptance fee within the specified deadline to confirm your admission.

4. Physical Reporting: After completing the fee payment, you may need to physically report to the allotted institute for further admission formalities, depending on the instructions provided by UPTAC.

UPTAC Counselling 2024: Round 3 choice-filling from August 20

The UPTAC 2024 round 3 choice filling will be held from August 20 to August 21. The UPTAC round 3 seat allotment results for UPTAC counseling 2024 will be announced on August 23. Candidates will have to submit their willingness and pay the acceptance fee by August 25.
