UPTET 2026 LIVE: UP teacher eligibility test for 19.94 lakh tomorrow across 955 centres; timings

The UPTET 2026 exam will begin tomorrow in offline mode. Candidates can check updates on the qualifying marks, paper analysis, answer key, result date, rank card, cutoff, and more.
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) will conduct the UPTET 2026 examination on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026. The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2026) will be held in pen and paper mode across the state.
The UPTET 2026 is administered to determine the eligibility of candidates for recruitment as Teachers at the primary (class I to V) and elementary (class VI to VIII) levels in government and other schools in Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates will be able to appear in either of the two papers or can appear for both. The UPTET 2026 examination will take place at various centres across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
The commission has released the UPTET admit card 2026 on June 30 and city intimation slip 2026 on June 22 on the official website, upessc.up.gov.in.

UPTET 2026 Exam Day Instructions
Candidates can check the list of instructions for the UPTET exam day 2026 below:
- All the instructions mentioned in the UPTET 2026 admit card must be checked by the candidates.
- Candidates must use masks to avoid getting infected with any infections at the UPTET 2026 examination centre.
- They are advised to bring necessary items such as water bottles, ball-point pens, and a bottle of their own sanitiser.
- They must reach the test centre at least 90 minutes earlier in order to maintain the social distance guidelines at the examination centre.
- Before entering the examination centre, proper sanitisation and temperature control will be taken.

UPTET 2026:Exam Day Timings
The commission will conduct the examination from July 2 to July 4, 2026. Candidates can check the UPTET exam timings 2026 below:
- Morning Shift: 9:30 am – 12 pm (Paper I for Classes 1-5)
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30 pm – 5 pm (Paper II Classes 6-8)
Candidates who will appear for the examination will have to carry their UPTET 2026 admit card, photo ID proof, and two recent photographs at the exam centre for verification purposes.
