VITEEE 2018 Application date extended till March 15

The authorities of Vellore Institute of Technology have extended the last date of the VITEEE 2018 application form submission to March 15, 2018. Earlier, the last date was February 28, 2018. The application forms for VITEEE, the university’s entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes was released on November 1 and November 9, 2017 in online and offline mode respectively. Candidates who are filling the application form of VITEEE need to register themselves and provide their personal, education, qualifying exam and communication details. They need to pay the requisite VITEEE application fee through net banking/ credit card or debit card or cash or DD depending upon the mode of application. Last, but not the least, candidates will have to upload their recent passport size photograph and signature in the format officially specified.

The University released the online application form on November 1, 2017 on the official website. Candidates were also able to collect the application form from the post offices (by paying cash) and VIT campuses (through DD) from November 9, 2017 onwards. The application forms can be collected at the following VIT campuses - Vellore Campus, Chennai Campus, Bhopal & Amaravati till March 15.

Things to keep in mind while filling the application form

• Candidates must fill the application form after checking the eligibility criteria to reduce the chances of rejection.
• To know how to fill the application form of VITEEE, candidates must read the important instructions given therein and then proceed to fill the form.
• Till the completion of the admission process, candidates must retain the registered mobile number and email address.
• Candidates must make sure that details provided by them in the application form are valid.
• After the payment of the application fee, candidates should keep a record of the payment details like transaction ID, date, amount etc.
• If the application amount is debited from the account and is not reflected, candidates should not try to fill application form anew. They are advised to wait for 24 hours and try the application fee payment once again with the same registered email ID. However, if the amount is not debited, they must pay again.
• Those paying through offline mode should not forget to write their name and the VITEEE 2018 application number on the reverse side of the DD.
• Candidates must check all the details before submitting the form. Correction of details and editing of the application form is allowed till the last date of applying.
• All candidates are advised to take a printout of the filled in application form after submission.

Though the application form submission date has been extended, it is advisable to fill and submit the form soon before the last date.
