WBBSE Class 10 board exam 2023 starts tomorrow; Check guidelines to follow

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) Class 10, or Madhyamik, exams will start tomorrow, February 23, 2023. The examination will conclude on March 4. As per the routine released by WBBSE, the exams will be held from 11:45 am to 3 pm.

The WB board 10th exam is conducted for 800 marks and out of which, students need to obtain 272 marks in total to clear the exams.

It is necessary for students to follow the exam day guidelines which are mentioned in the Class 10 board admit card. To know further details about it, students can go to WBBSE's official website- wbbse.wb.gov.in.

West Bengal Madhyamik exam 2023: Instructions to follow

Below are the guidelines that students need to follow on the Class 10 board exam day-

  • Candidates are advised to carry their admit card and valid ID proof. Without the admit card candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  • Use of any electronic gadgets is prohibited in the examination hall.
  • Use of any unfair means in the exam hall will not be allowed.
  • Candidates must reach the exam centre before 11:15 am to check their sitting plan properly.
  • Candidates will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper thoroughly.
  • Attempt the questions which can be solved quickly and efficiently then move on to other questions.
  • Students should not stick to a question for a long time.
  • Do not forget to revise the answer sheet at the end.

The West Bengal Board Class 12 exams are scheduled to begin from March 14, 2023. The Class 12 exams will conclude on March 27, 2023. Bengali (A), English (A), Hindi (A), Nepali (A), Urdu, Santhali, Odia, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi papers will be held on the first day.
