WBCAP 2026 Merit List: Candidates can view allotted college and course through the student dashboard; document verification and fee payment required to confirm admission

WBCAP Merit List 2026: The West Bengal Centralised Admission Portal (WBCAP) has published the first undergraduate (UG) merit list for the 2026 admission cycle today, June 9. Candidates who registered through the centralised admission system can now check their WBCAP seat allotment status by logging into the official portal, wbcap.nic.in.
According to the report, the merit list has been prepared on the basis of candidates' academic performance in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
Students whose names appear in the allotment list will be required to complete the admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment, within the timelines prescribed by the authorities.

Candidates can access their allotment information through the student login dashboard available on the admission portal. The dashboard will display details regarding the college and programme allotted to the applicant based on merit, preferences submitted during registration and seat availability.
Students will also be able to view information such as their merit position, admission status and allotment details through their individual accounts.
