Notably, there will be one council nominee in each exam centre for 20 students. “They need to report to the centre at 10:00 am. Sealed questions papers will be brought to the examination hall and the seal will be opened in front of the students,” the notice read.

The council has also stated that the use of mobile phones, calculators and other electronic gadgets will be strictly prohibited inside the WB Class 12 examination centres.

The question papers will be available in Bengali, English, Hindi and Ol Chiki. The council will use machine-based evaluation for the written OMR answer sheets, with no examiner or head examiner involved in the evaluation.

The written OMR sheets will be transported to its regional offices through the post office. A council nominee will also be appointed at each examination centre, the notice added.

The council has distributed urgent examination documents through 56 camps across West Bengal and has provided admit cards to candidates through its online portal.
