The examination is mainly used for BTech, BPharm, and BArch admissions through a centralised counselling process conducted by WBJEEB.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has issued the WBJEE 2026 answer key today at wbjeeb.nic.in.

WBJEEB releases separate General Merit Rank (GMR) and Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) lists for admissions. The final seat allotment is prepared based on candidates’ rank, preferred colleges and courses, and seat availability in participating institutes. The exam is being conducted today for engineering aspirants.

Every year, the university witnesses intense competition during WBJEE counselling, particularly for Computer Science, Information Technology, and Electronics. 

The paper consists of multiple-choice questions divided into three categories, with each category carrying a distinct marking pattern.

• Category I, each correct answer is awarded +1 mark while an incorrect response leads to a deduction of ¼ mark.
• Category II questions carry +2 marks for a correct answer, with a penalty of ½ mark for wrong responses.
• Category III questions are more analytical in nature and follow no negative marking rule, where full or partial credit is awarded based on correctness of selected options.

• On the homepage, click on “WBJEE 2026 Answer Key” or “OMR/Recorded Response Sheet.”
• A new page will open.
• Enter application number and password or date of birth.
• Press the submit icon.
• WBJEE answer key 2026 and response sheet will appear on the screen.
• Check your answers and download it.

The WBJEEB has not announced the WBJEE result date yet. However, the WBJEE is expected to declare the results 2026 in June, as per previous years trends.
