Download NowNEW DELHI: West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the West Bengal Higher Secondary (HS) board result date 2024. As per the latest announcement, the West Bengal Class 12 results 2024 will be declared on May 8 at 1 pm. Around 7,89,867 students appeared in this year’s WB Class-12 board exams.
The WBCHSE Class 12 board exams 2024 were held from February 16-29 at different exam venues. The West Bengal HS result link 2024 will be hosted on the official website, wbchse.wb.gov.in.
“West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will declare the results of Higher Secondary Examination,2024 on 08.05.2024 at 01:00 p.m. through a Press Conference. Students will be able to view/ download their results from the specific websites at and from 3:00 pm, which will be notified soon,” the latest notification read.
The Board informed school principals that the hardcopies of the mark sheets and pass certificate will be available in 55 distribution centres including the 4 regional offices of the council from May 10 from 10 am. They have been also instructed to distribute the original mark sheets to students on the same day as the scrutiny application will also be made available on the same date.
Tatkal Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) and Tatkal Post Publication Review (PPR) of WB 12th answer scripts will be accepted from May 10 from 2 pm to May 13 till midnight. The application for normal PPS or PPR will be accepted from May 10 from 2 pm to May 25 midnight submitted through the official website, wbchseapp.wb.gov.in/portaUdashboard_student .
The council said that the application fee for normal scrutiny of HS exam paper is Rs 150 per subject and for normal paper review it is Rs 200 per subject. On the other hand, candidates will have to pay Rs 600 per subject for tatkal answer script scrutiny and Rs 800 per subject for talkal review. Students should also note that they will be allowed to apply for scrutiny for all subjects but can apply for review in a maximum of two subjects.
