NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has announced the TN 12th result date and time on the official website. As per the latest announcement, the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) plus two results will be declared on May 8 at 9.30 AM. Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2023 Live Updates

The board announced to publish the Tamil Nadu 12th results on May 5. However, it later postponed the TN Class 12 result date due to the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) exam.

As per reports, the state teachers associations requested the education minister to postpone the 12th result 2023 date for the public exam as it would impact students performance in the NEET UG exam 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued the NEET UG admit card 2023 today for the medical aspirants at neet.nta.nic.in.

“HSE(+2) results are expected on Monday, 8th May 2023, at 9:30 AM,” Tamil Nadu result website, tnresults.nic.in, read.

Last year, a total of 8,062,77 students appeared in the Class 12 board exam and recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.76%. Girls outperformed boys by securing 96.32%. The pass percentage of boys stood at 90.96%. The board did not announce TN 12th toppers the previous year instead published the district-wise performance of students.
