World University of Design organises international culture, design festival
World University of Design organised 'Cult 2022', a culture, design festival bringing 40 colleges from India and abroad from November 10 to 11, 2022.

NEW DELHI: World University of Design (WUD) organised 'Cult 2022', their annual international culture and design festival on November 10 and 11, 2022 at the WUD campus in Sonipat. The festival was a platform for students to showcase their talents in various fields.
The event brought over 40 colleges from India and abroad together on one platform to interact and exchange views with each other. 'Cult 2022' showcased talent of students in various fields including arts, design, sports, fashion, folk dance and technology with winning prizes worth Rs 5,00,000.

The festival saw multiple events such as Nrityaleela, Masakali, Spotlight, Sync and Sing, Conjunto Pie, Bigul, Act to, Winin the Frame, Silver Screem, Valorant, Call of Duty mobile, WWE, fashion show, Fashion Film, Volleyball, Badminton, Basketball, Carrom, table Tennis, Rangshala and folk dance.
On day-1, singer and songwriter Anuv Jain wrapped up the event with a few of his hits while day-2 saw a performance by “Joy – the band”. The University has been organising this annual event since 2018, the also event went into hybrid mode to accommodate students from all parts of the world in the pandemic.
WUD, vice-chancellor, Sanjay Gupta said: "Over the past years Cult has emerged as a high-profile event in Sonepat eclipsing fests of other bigger institutions in the area, attracting students from far-fetched shores to showcase their potential and compete with their kind. The festival is a forum for young minds to create, unify, liberate and transform which also lays the very foundation of the festival.”
