Candidates who applied for the exam will be able to edit their XAT 2026 application form through their candidate’s login portal at xatonline.in.

The last date to correct the details in the XAT 2026 application form is October 16. During the application correction period, candidates will be able to correct their personal information, academic details, work experience, contact information, and choice of test cities, if needed.
“Application edit window will be open from October 14, 2025 (09:00 am) to October 16, 2025 (09:00 am). This 48-hour window will allow registered candidates to review and correct any errors in their submitted application forms,” the official portal said.
The XAT 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on January 4. The computer-based test (CBT) will be held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The XAT 2026 admit card will be released on December 20, 2025, tentatively.

XAT 2026 admission process overview
The XAT 2026 mock test link is now active on the official website. Candidates can access the mock test to familiarise themselves with the exam pattern, question types, and computer-based test interface before the actual examination.
The XAT 2026 admission process comprises four phases. In Phase 1, candidates who completed the application form will appear for the exam. Phase 2 includes shortlisting students for group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) rounds based on XAT scores and institute-specific cutoffs.
In Phase 3, shortlisted candidates participate in GD, essay writing, and PI sessions. Phase 4 finalises the selection, with admission offered to successful candidates at the participating institutes.
