175 IIM Bodh Gaya students receive MBA degree in a virtual convocation

A total of 66 students from MBA 2018-20 batch and 109 students from MBA 2019-21 batch were conferred MBA degree in the online convocation ceremony.
NEW DELHI: IIM Bodh Gaya held its third convocation on Tuesday in online mode owing to the second wave of coronavirus in the country.
A total of 66 students from MBA 2018-20 batch and 109 students from MBA 2019-21 batch were conferred MBA degree.
The institute also awarded the chairman’s gold medal, director’s gold medal, and best student award to the meritorious students in the virtual ceremony.
Anchit Kumar in the MBA batch of 2018-20 and Kunj Tripathi in MBA batch of 2019-21 were awarded the chairman’s gold medal. Abhishek Panda and Mohit Mittal were conferred with the director’s gold medal from their respective batches. Ravi Shankar Baranwal and Manudhane Abhishek Praful received the honour of the best student award in the ceremony.
The director, Vinita S. Sahay shared the institute’s annual report and briefed the audience about the performance of the institute over the academic year 2020-21.
M. Rajeshwar Rao, deputy governor, Reserve Bank of India, was invited to speak at the IIM Bodh Gaya convocation ceremony.“For a business leader, it is paramount that she or he is prepared to change, ready to explore new possibilities and open to new ideas,” said Rao encouraging the graduating batch.
