The RGUHS has scheduled the final year BDS exams 2022 in the month of August. However, several students have expressed concerns about insufficient time to prepare for exam, inadequate clinical exposure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Many students are under pressure as the previous and present academic years are disturbed due to COVID, causing inadequate clinical exposure, lack of clinical postings, ineffective online classes and insufficient time to prepare for exams,” the AIDSO said.

It further informed, “The present final year classes started in January. The final year students should have 10 months of classes and clinical postings as per RGUHS guidelines. But according to the scheduled timetable, students are forced to appear for exam with a span of 6 months instead of 10 months of preparation. And in many colleges the syllabus is not completed. Not even 50% of RGUHS clinical postings quota is done in majority colleges.”
