Download NowThe Bar Council of India (BCI) has started registration for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 22 today, August 19, 2026. Eligible law graduates and candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can register online through the official AIBE website for the November 29 exam.
To apply online, candidates will have to complete the registration process, pay the prescribed application fee and submit the required documents within the deadline.

AIBE 22: Steps to apply online
Candidates will first have to register on the AIBE portal by verifying their mobile number and email ID.
- Visit the official AIBE website
- Log in to the AIBE portal using registered phone number and OTP
- Fill in personal, academic, enrolment and other required details
- Upload the documents and cross-check the same
- Select up to three preferred examination centres before paying the application fee
- Submit the application form
- Save a copy for future references
Documents required for applying
Candidates should keep the following documents ready while applying:
- Passport-size photograph
- Scanned signature
- LLB graduation certificate and marksheets
- State Bar Council enrolment certificate, if applicable
- Advocate ID card, if issued
- Valid photo ID
- Category certificate, if applicable
- Disability certificate, if applicable
- LLM certificate and marksheet, if applicable

Eligibility, application fee
Candidates who have completed a three-year or five-year LLB programme from a BCI-recognised university or institution can apply. Other than this, final-year or final-semester LLB students can also apply, provided they do not have any backlogs in previous semesters. Candidates who have completed their LLB but have not yet received their degree or enrolled with a state bar council are also eligible, subject to the applicable BCI requirements.
The application fee is Rs 3,500 for General, OBC and EWS candidates. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories will have to pay Rs 2,500. For more details, one can go to the official website.
