AICTE affiliated institutions instructed to follow activities on 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas'

The council has requested their affiliated institutions to encourage faculty and students to carry out activities on 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas'.
NEW DELHI: All India Council of Technical education has issued a notice regarding the celebration of the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, as 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas' on November 15, 2022.
The council has requested their affiliated colleges and institutions to encourage faculty, staff and students to carry out activities on the 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas'. The activities include celebrating the legacy of tribal leaders like Bhagwan Birsa Munda, as well as other great personalities and unsung heroes of Janjati communities, be disseminated.

The institutions are also asked to hold a debate competition with the theme 'contribution of Janjati heroes in freedom struggle' among students and felicitate them for their work. The council has asked its affiliated higher educational institutions to celebrate the occasion with zeal and enthusiasm.
In other news, AICTE also announce the mandatory professional accreditation with Saudi Council of engineers for any engineers working in the country. As per the notice, the government of Saudi Arabia have made the requirement of engineers intending to work in Saudi Arabia to have a mandatory professional accreditation with the Saudi Council of engineers. The engineers will not be able to work in the country if they do not have the said accreditation.
