AICTE invites applications for PG scholarship for 2022-23; apply before November 30

NEW DELHI : All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited online applications for the Post Graduate (PG) scholarship for the academic session 2022-23. Students in first year of ME, MTech, MPharm, MArch, MDes courses having valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) or Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) scorecard will be given scholarships. The last date to apply for the scholarships is November 30.

The council has invited online proposals from AICTE approved institutions, and the students studying in such institutions or courses that are approved by AICTE. The scholarship will be provided through direct benefit transfer (DBT) mode to the eligible students for this academic year.

Procedure

• All the eligible institutes will have to upload the eligible PG student’s details on the AICTE portal on or before December 15, 2022 and distribute student’s unique ID generated by the system to all the PG students admitted in AICTE approved institutes, programmes and within approved intake during 2022-23.
• Students will have to collect the unique ID from the institute and the login at link: pgscholarship.aicte-india.org for uploading the scanned copies of the documents.
• The institute will then verify the student data and approve their candidature on the portal.

“All eligible students shall upload their information on or before November 30, 2022 on AICTE web portal and the institute shall complete the procedure of student data verification and approval for the eligibility for the receipt of scholarship on or before December 15, 2022,” AICTE’s official notification said.

Detailed general guidelines, instructions, FAQ’s and procedure for online registration of students and approval of eligibility of the student by the institute is available on the official link, it added.
