AICTE revises academic calendar for technical, PGDM courses again
AICTE Academic Calendar: Dates for affiliation, seat cancellation, admission against vacancies changed.

NEW DELHI: The academic calendar 2021-22 for technical, PGDM courses has been revised again by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), according to its official social media account. The AICTE had revised the academic calendar in July as well.
According to the revised academic calendar (given below) the last date to apply for grant of affiliation by a university or board has been changed to August 31, 2021, earlier it was August 10. The last date for the cancellation of seats for technical courses with full fee refund has been postponed to October 20, before the revision of the calendar it was October 15 ; and the last change is in the deadline for admissions of first-year students against vacancies, the date has been changed from October 20 to October 25
All classes will start on October 1, 2021 for existing students of technical courses and for the first year students on October 25. Earlier, it was September 1 and September 15 for existing students and first year students, respectively.
Last date for lateral entry admission to second year courses for newly admitted students is October 30.
The last date for admissions, grant approvals, cancellations in standalone PGDM and PGCM Institutions remains the same. Also the last dates for admission in courses for both the first and second session offered by open school are unchanged, that is September 1, 2021.
