AICTE warns stakeholders against fake recruitment offers
The All India Council for Education has warned people against fake job offers offering recruitment of officers for all vacancies.

NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Education (AICTE) has issued a circular warning all stakeholders to remain cautious against fake recruitment offers.

“It has come to the notice of the AlCTE that people claiming to be AlCTE officials (imposters) are approaching people that AlCTE is recruiting officers for all vacancies including Taluk or District Coordinators, Head Zonal Officers, Zonal Officers etc.,” AICTE said in the statement.
AICTE has clarified that no such recruitment is being held by the council and has any such incident should be reported to AICTE through the official communication email IDs which are available on AICTE website www.aicte-india.org .

“Criminal proceedings shall be initiated against such people as per law,” AICTE warned.
Several times in the past, AICTE has faced such scams related to fake website, fake internship offers and warned people against the imposters.
In September, the council issued an official notice stating that its official url is aicte-india.org and warned the public against fake website urls that have been surfacing on the internet.

According to the official notice from AICTE, “it has been observed that some websites with similar looking URL like www.aicstd.com, www.aictetindia.org, etc. do not belong to AICTE.”
In the same month, AICTE warned students of Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh about individuals posing as AICTE officials and offering admissions under Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS 2021-22).

Whereas in June, it issued a warning to technical institutions about “imposters” approaching institutions for admission and grant of approval by posing as senior AICTE officials.
