Answer key by Resonance - What is in store?
AIIMS exam was held in four sessions, two shifts a day. Resonance, a leading coaching institute, has released answer keys for each of these sessions. An important aspect about these answer keys though is they don't include keys to all 200 questions. For example, answer key for morning session (May 25) include keys to 167 questions, evening session (May 25) include 116 keys, morning session (May 26) have 146 keys, while evening session (May 26) has keys to 126 questions.

Why are keys not released for all the questions?
The discrepancy in number of questions asked in AIIMS MBBS exam and keys released by Resonance is because the institute had to gather the questions from candidates who have appeared in the exam. Considering AIIMS MBBS is a computer-based exam, candidates are not given any printed question papers; neither are they allowed to bring back any written text outside of the exam hall. So, any question shared by candidates to Resonance is based on memory. Now not many candidates remember all the questions.
Using keys to calculate expected score
By comparing the given keys with their own responses, candidates will get a good idea about their performance. Interestingly, each key is followed by a solution, which again will help the candidate understand how the key has been arrived at.
When will official AIIMS MBBS 2019 answer key be available?
AIIMS New Delhi, which is the exam conducting body, doesn’t usually release any answer keys. So unofficial answer keys by the different coaching institutes is the only option candidates have, unless the conducting body bucks the trend and releases the official keys.
In case AIIMS New Delhi releases official keys, then keys given in the official version will be the final authority on the correctness of a key. Also, official AIIMS MBBS answer keys if released at all, will be available before declaration of results on June 12.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam was conducted in two shifts per day on May 25 and 26. Around 3 lakh candidates appeared in the exam for admission to MBBS program offered at 15 participating institutes; there are 1,207 seats up for grabs, including 7 for foreign candidates.
Exam analysis by students :
After completion of the exam, the following candidates shared their experience and analysis of the AIIMS MBBS 2019 question paper:
Exam analysis of May 26 (Day 2) Exam - Evening Session
Upashana : Physics was difficult, Bio difficult to moderate, and Chemistry easy. Physics included quite a few questions from circuit theory and semiconductor. Chemistry had more questions from organic, and Biology had questions from plant and animal kingdom. Overall paper was moderate
Puja Dubey . The paper was not very difficult, Biology and Chemistry in particular was very easy. Physics though was very difficult, as it had many questions related to numericals. Assertion reasoning was easy. Mostly questions were from modern physics. Chemistry had more questions from organic and physical section, than from inorganic. NCERT questions dominated Biology. Also felt a few questions related to genetics were outside the syllabus.
Shiv Chaudhary : Paper was moderate, through Physics was hard. Bio was easy while chemistry was moderate. Compared to NEET also, Physics questions were much more difficult. All topics were covered in physics. AR being my weakness, I found questions the section difficult.
Raman Chauhan : Overall difficulty was moderate. Physics was the most difficult section; there are quite a few questions on alternating current. Biology, all the topics were equally covered. In Chemistry, organic was relatively difficult. I think a few were out of syllabus.
Shweta Srivastav
: AIIMS MBBS paper is always difficult, especially due to Physics. I think Physics had maximum questions from Mechanics. In Chemistry, majority questions were from inorganic. Overall the difficulty level was moderate.
Exam analysis of May 26 (Day 2) Exam - Morning Session
Barsha : The difficulty level was moderate. Subject-wise Biology was easy, Chemistry moderate difficulty, and Physics difficult.
Varnika : Biology section as expected was easy, but I found Physics very hard. Chemistry was moderate. Compared to NEET 2019 as well, Physics was much harder. Physics in NEET was moderate difficulty level.
Hima Siddiqui : The paper was moderate. Physics was tough, but Chemistry was normal difficulty level, and Biology was easy. I have attempted NEET 2019 as well, but found AIIMS MBBS question paper easier.
Aakash : Compared to last year, the question paper was easier. Subject-wise, Physics was moderate to high difficult level, whereas Chemistry and Bio were easy. Unlike NEET, AIIMS MBBS is always more difficult, and story is the same this time as well.
Kumud : AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam was of moderate difficulty level. Biology was very easy, Chemistry moderate, but Physics was pretty tough. Having appeared in NEET, I would say AIIMS MBBS was easier.
