Asian College of Journalism Application Form Available Now

NEW DELHI, MARCH 3: Asian College of Journalism has released the application form for the post graduate diploma programme in journalism and in Business & Finance Journalism. The institute has released the form in both online and offline modes. The last date for filling the application form is April 16, 2018. Candidates will have to pay a processing fee of Rs 2000 if they are applying for only one programme and Rs 3, 000 for both the programmes.
Before the candidates proceed to fill the application form, they must ensure that they have the following documents and information ready with them:
- Recent coloured passport size photograph in JPEG/PNG format . No selfies will be allowed
- Scanned copy of community certificate if the candidate wishes to apply for SC/ST scholarship and exemption from the application fee.
- Scanned copy of family income proof if the candidates wants to apply for scholarship (e.g. pay slip, last filed income tax return of earning family members).
- Academic details of college and school in which the candidate has studied
The steps that are involved in filling the online application form of ACJ include registration, providing personal and academic details, uploading of the photograph, final submission of the application form and payment of fee.
The offline application must be downloaded and filled by the candidates. They must affix a recent photograph and place their signature in the designated place. They should send the form to the ACJ admission office. They must also attach one more photograph along with the form.
Fee can be paid by the candidates either through netbanking, debit card or credit card. It can also be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of “Media Development Foundation”, payable at Chennai. Candidates must ensure that they mention their full name, reference number, email address and mobile number on the reverse of the draft. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee provided they furnish their community certificate in support of their claim.
Shortlisted candidates must appear for the online entrance examination on Sunday, May 13, 2018 between 09.00 am and 02.00 pm. They will be intimated about their hall tickets via email between May 5 and May 9, 2018. The entrance exam will be held at 17 cities across the country namely Thiruvanthapuram, Cochin, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Patna, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bhopal, Lucknow, Ranchi, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune and Ahmedabad.
The list of candidates who have qualified in the entrance test will be announced on May 22, 2018. Interviews will be conducted in Chennai at the ACJ campus between May 30 and June 3, 2018. The final result will be announced on June 5, 2018
