Assam CEE 2018 Application to be available from March 1

NEW DELHI, FEB 27: Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) will release the application form of Assam CEE 2018 on March 1 in online mode. ASTU will be conducting the entrance exam for the academic year 2018-19. Last year, the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam was the exam conducting body while Dibrugarh University used to conduct it in the earlier years.
Candidates willing to appear in the exam will have to fill the application form by providing all the requisite details. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility before they fill the application form. The last date to fill the application form is March 20.
Candidates applying must note that Assam CEE application form will only be available in online mode. However, the application fee payment of Rs 600 can be done online through SBI-COLLECT (Net banking, credit card or debit card) or offline through an e-challan.
The e-challan will be generated after the submission of the application form. Candidates will have to download it and on the second day of the application form submission, they will be required to visit their nearest SBI branch and pay the fees in cash. Candidates must ensure that their e-challan has the seal of the bank, signature of the bank official and journal number and keep it safe till the admissions are over.
If the application fee payment has been made in offline mode, candidates are advised to check their application form status as application forms without payment will not be taken into consideration.
