Candidates can choose to freeze or upgrade their allotted seat, while failure to pay the admission fee within the deadline will lead to automatic cancellation

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the BHU PG fourth allotment on the official website of BHU at bhucuetpg.samarth.edu.in. The deadline to pay the admission fee for the BHU PG 2026 fourth allotment is tomorrow, July 4. Applicants who have secured a seat in the BHU PG 2026 allotment are required to complete document verification by reporting to the allotted college before the last date.
As per the official notice, after the merit list-cum-seat allotment is published, candidates should log in to the admission portal and carefully review their allotment details. Before paying the admission fee, they must ensure that they meet all the eligibility requirements for the allotted programme.
Candidates are advised to regularly check their CAP (PG) 2026 dashboard after every round of seat allotment for further updates. If multiple programmes are allotted, they must select their preferred option, as choosing one programme will automatically deactivate the remaining allotments on the portal.

To download the BHU PG fourth allotment result, applicants need to follow the steps given below:
Candidates must pay the admission fee within the specified deadline to confirm their allotted seat. If the payment is not made on time, the allotment will be cancelled automatically. Such candidates will lose their claim to that seat and will not be considered for further counselling rounds for the same programme. However, they may still be eligible for seat allotment in other programmes they have applied for, subject to the counselling guidelines.

Once a seat is allotted, candidates can either freeze it or opt for upgradation. Those choosing the upgrade option will be considered for a higher-preference programme in the upcoming counselling rounds. If they receive a new allotment, they will have to pay the additional fee, if applicable. If no better option is allotted, they will continue with their existing seat.
