Bihar Board 2026 Class 10, 12 marksheets now available on DigiLocker: BSEB Chairman

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has made the 2026 Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) academic documents available on DigiLocker. Students can now access their digital marksheets through the government-backed digital document platform, according to a BSEB press release dated September 29, 2026.

The initiative will allow students to keep their Bihar board exam marksheets in digital form and access them when required. BSEB Chairman Tyagarajan S.M. said that the academic documents of examinations conducted earlier in 2026 will also be made available on DigiLocker soon.

How to download Bihar Board marksheets from DigiLocker

Students can access their BSEB Class 10 or Class 12 documents on DigiLocker by following these steps:

• Visit the DigiLocker website at digilocker.gov.in or download the DigiLocker mobile app.
• Sign up or log in using an Aadhaar-verified mobile number.
• Go to ‘Issued Documents’ or ‘Search Documents’.
• Select ‘Bihar School Examination Board’.
• Choose the Class 10 or Class 12 document and enter the required details, including roll code, roll number and examination year 2026.
• Download or access the document from DigiLocker.

DigiLocker documents legally valid

According to the BSEB release, documents issued through DigiLocker are considered equivalent to original documents under the Information Technology Act, 2000. The board said the documents are obtained directly from the issuing authority, which helps ensure their authenticity.

The digital documents can also help students avoid issues related to lost, damaged or fake physical documents. They can be used for faster verification for higher education admissions, scholarships, jobs and other services, according to the board.

BSEB Chairman said that academic documents, including Bihar board marksheets and certificates for examinations conducted before 2026, will also be made available on DigiLocker shortly.

The board said students will be informed about the availability of these documents through different communication channels.

The initiative has been implemented with coordination between the Bihar School Examination Board, Digital India Corporation and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The BSEB release also acknowledged the role of Deepak Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Lok Bhavan, Patna, in the initiative.
