Bihar Board Exam 2027: BSEB gives missed students 10 days to submit Class 10, 12 exam forms

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has given students who missed the application process for the Class 10 and Class 12 annual examinations 2027 a final 10-day opportunity to submit their examination forms. The application window will remain open from November 7 to November 17, 2026.

The decision was taken after Rajesh Kumar, Commissioner of the Patna Division, took charge as the new chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board on November 6, according to a press release issued by the board.

During a review meeting with senior board officials, Kumar directed the board to provide the additional time to students who could not complete their examination forms for the 2027 matriculation and intermediate examinations.

The board has described the 10-day period as a final opportunity for such students.

BSEB stresses exam accountability

After assuming charge, Kumar reviewed the arrangements for conducting examinations and other board-related work with senior officials. A presentation was also made through PowerPoint during the meeting.

The chairman stressed the need to maintain transparency, fairness and strict monitoring in examinations conducted by the board. He also directed officials to identify negligent and guilty employees and take strict action against them.

The board has been asked to identify shortcomings in its examination arrangements and rectify them within a month. Officials have also been directed to review any deficiencies in examinations conducted earlier and take corrective measures.

Kumar directed officials to dispose of all pending matters with the board within one month. He also asked them to review cases pending before courts and matters related to MJC.

The chairman further instructed officials to review the agencies selected for conducting examinations and other board-related activities. The board has been asked to obtain no-objection certificates (NOCs) from these agencies confirming that they have not been blacklisted.

The press release also stated that preparations for the Bihar School Librarian Eligibility Test have been completed.

Kumar directed the board to issue a notification announcing the examination date and inform candidates about the schedule. The examination will be conducted on November 22, 2026.
